About Undergraduate Data Science at UBC
Building on the University of British Columbia's interdisciplinary expertise in data science fields, the undergraduate major and minor programs are offered in collaboration between the departments of Computer Science and Statistics.
The departments of Computer Science and Statistics jointly offer a major specialization in data science. This major specialization equips students with the knowledge and skills to ethically and transparently apply modern and broadly applicable data science methods.
