The Data Science Steering Committee provides strategic oversight and guidance for UBC’s undergraduate Data Science programs.
The Data Science Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Department Heads of Computer Science and Statistics on various aspects of the Major, Minor, and other undergraduate DSCI programs, including curriculum changes, operational processes like section offerings and admissions, and student support services such as advising and career placement. Additionally, the Steering Committee addresses program evaluation, data stewardship, logistical challenges, and any other issues related to undergraduate DSCI programs.
